Looking for something to do in Palm Springs? Pay a visit to the first and only cat café in the Coachella Valley. Frisky Business Palm Springs Cat Café, located at 4781 E. Palm Canyon Drive, Suite F, in Palm Springs, offers various services, merchandise, and events in a fun, unique, relaxed environment for both cats and people alike.
Claire Rogers, business founder and owner and self-professed animal lover, believes that every adoptable cat should have a forever home. “By fostering the cats we receive from The Palm Springs Animal Shelter at Frisky Business, we believe we give them greater visibility of being seen and thus a greater chance of being adopted,” says Rogers.
Rogers notes that the one constant throughout her life is her love of animals, particularly cats. “I am an avid traveler and have fed and helped rescue cats in Japan, Bermuda, Jordan, Laos, Thailand, Indonesia, and more,” she says. Furthermore, she has been a patron of the RSPCA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) for over twenty years.
The cat café’s goal is to facilitate the adoption of happy, healthy cats by cat lovers who wish to adopt them. Although cat adoption is not a requirement of visiting Frisky Business, customers have the opportunity to play and spend time with adoptable cats by paying an hourly entrance fee. The hope is that patrons will find just the right cat to take home.
