Cultural Enrichment and Education
The Palm Springs Cultural Center serves as a focal point for cultural enrichment in the region. It hosts a wide array of events, including film festivals, art exhibitions, and live performances. These offerings expose the community to different forms of art, entertainment, and cultural expressions, fostering a sense of appreciation and understanding for various artistic disciplines. It also hosts a number of educational events. Examples of recent educational programs are films and presentations in conjunction with the Palm Springs Modernism Week programming as well as film screenings and related dialogues that follow for various film festivals.

Unique, Diverse Entertainment
The Cultural Center offers a diverse range of programming, catering to different tastes and interests. It is a host site for the Palm Springs International Film Festival, Cinema Diverse, the LGBTQ+ Film Festival, and other film festivals for Documentaries, Shorts and Animated films. Other unique film presentations include a full schedule of Sing-along events in the summer for classic musical movies, as well as a regular, ongoing schedule of movies in the theater, both of the classics and of many of today’s independent art films. The Center also provides weekly musical events in its upstairs lounge, live theatre, concerts and musical events, a variety of special community events.

Community Building
Understanding the importance of building community and meaningful relationships with the people and the environment around it, the Cultural Center is an important asset for the surrounding Palm Springs neighborhoods and the area. At the forefront of recognizing the interconnection between the cultural arts and food culture, the Cultural Center hosts markets for the community, including a weekly Certified Farmers’ Market on Saturday mornings. It also hosts a very popular Palm Springs Vintage Market on the first Sundays of each month from October to May which features vendors from near and far for residents and visitors.
